  • Turn the bike off and remove the 2mm hex bolt on the power button.
  • Remove bolt with caution.

  • Gently remove the power button and cable from the frame until the connection comes out of the frame.
  • If the cable gets stuck or will not come out don’t force it as the connection can come loose.

  • Disconnect the power button from the frame wire.
  • Take the new power button and connect the power button cable to the frame cable making sure the arrows are lined up.

  • Once the new power button is connected slide the excess cable back inside the frame being careful not to kink or damage the cable.
  • Feed the cable inside the frame back toward the seat post.

  • Once the cable is fully in the frame insert the button into the frame and secure it to the frame with the 2mm bolt.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

Final Step

  • Turn the bike on to ensure the button is connected and working.
  • Cycle through assist levels and make sure the lights can be turned on/off. If for any reason the button does not turn on take the button back out and check the connection.
