  •  Using an 8mm hex wrench remove the black axle bolt on the non-drive side rear of the bike. (Brake side) Make sure to leave the silver LeMond spacer on the axle.

  • Install the larger of the    two washers on the rear axle first. Then apply a small amount of grease to the threads on the axle and install the trailer hitch adapter.

  • Slide the smaller silver washer onto the adapter axle. Now slide your trailer hitch mount onto the trailer hitch adapter axle. Your trailer should have come with a hitch mount, if not you will need to purchase the mount that corresponds with your trailer.

  •  Install the smaller nut that was included with the trailer hitch adapter. Using the 17mm wrench tighten the nut onto the axle until snug. No need to overtighten. Make sure the trailer mount is level so the trailer can be installed.

  • Once the hitch mount is installed, Insert the trailer into the mount making sure the holes on the mount align with the holes in the trailer. Once aligned and inserted, slide the attachment pin through the mount and the trailer and attach the safety clip on the other side. Your trailer is now installed and ready to use.
