Steps 1

  • Power off the bike and remove the 2mm hex bolt at the top of the power button. It can be a delicate bolt so be careful when removing it.

  • Gently remove the power button and cable from the frame until the connection comes out of the frame. If the cable gets stuck or will not come out don’t force it as the connection can come loose and will be difficult to get to.

  • Disconnect the power button from the frame wire. Take the new power button and connect the power button cable to the frame cable making sure the arrows are lined up. DO NOT FORCE IT.

  • Once the new power button is connected slide the excess cable back inside the frame being careful not to kink or damage the cable. Feed the cable inside the frame back toward the seat post as there is

  • Once the cable is fully in the frame insert the button into the frame and secure it to the frame with the 2mm bolt. This bolt is small and fragile, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

Final Step

  • Power on the bike to ensure the button is connected and working. Cycle through all the modes and make sure the lights can be turned on and off. If for any reason the button does not turn on take the button back out and check the connection.
