If I order a bike today, how long will it take to deliver?
We aim to deliver to our North American customers in under two weeks. Occasionally we might run low on a particular size or color. For a more accurate timeline about an exact model please contact our customer service team via info@lemond.com.
Is the concealed battery removable?
Absolutely, but it’s a job that is best undertaken by a qualified mechanic. In the unlikely event that there is a problem with the battery then please contact our customer service team via info@lemond.com and who will be happy to help.
How do I find the right-sized bike for me?
Our online sizing guide will show you how to choose the correct size LeMond Bicycle. If you are in any doubt our customer service team will be very happy to assist you. And in the extremely unlikely event that you are unhappy with your new bicycle when it arrives, we offer a cost-free exchange, or full refund any time during the first 30 days after delivery
Is there a dealership I can buy your bike from?
LeMond Bicycles is a direct-to-consumer business and our bicycles are only available through the Lemond.com website at this time. In the extremely unlikely event that you are unhappy with your new bicycle when it arrives, we offer a cost-free exchange, or full refund any time during the first 14 days after delivery
Is there anywhere I can take a bike out for a test ride?
The current testing center is at our Knoxville, TN facility. However, we offer all our customers a full refund, during the first 14 days after delivery, in the extremely unlikely event that you are unhappy with your new LeMond bike when it arrives. All we ask is that the bike has been ridden only on a clean, dry surface and that it is returned to us correctly packaged in the original box.
Who can work on my bike if I need it serviced?
While we do not have a list of authorized workshops, our bicycles are assembled with best-in-class components which will be familiar to any competent local mechanic.
Can the handlebars be raised by using stem spacers?
We do not offer stem spacers at this moment in time.
Do I need an additional battery extender? What is the range?
The range extender can give the rider up to 70% more range while riding. A key benefit of the range extender is that it charges the main battery, so should you not want to bring your bike inside after your ride, you can just charge the range extender up.
Where does the range extender sit on the bike?
The range extender fits snuggly in a custom bottle cage that mounts directly to the bike via a hex bolt.
Do pedals come with the bike? Are they easily changeable?
Yes, specialized flat pedals come included. The pedals are easily removable and replaceable.
What if I don't like my LeMond Bicycle when it arrives?
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your new LeMond Bicycle when it arrives then please contact us at info@lemond.com to arrange a refund or exchange. All we ask is that the bike is in the same condition it was upon delivery. We are happy to collect the bike from you, at our expense, and offer you an exchange, or a full refund anytime in the first 14 days after delivery."
Can I tune the motor to get more power?
We believe the MAHLE X35 SmartBike System is the best in class, treading a great line between performance, reliability, and weight. While we understand there's a natural interest among some customers to 'unlock' extra power, we can't endorse any kind of aftermarket modification due to the constraints around legal classification and warranty.
