Step 1

  • On the underside of the bike locate the frame hatch and undo the 2mm screw to access the wiring inside the frame.

  • Once the hatch is removed you will see the power controller in the bottom of the bike. It will be wrapped in silver aluminum tape.
  • Gently remove the power controller and all the cables attached out of the frame. Carefully unplug the cables by holding as close to the connections as possible and pulling.

  • There will be four cables attached to the power controller. One Battery Wire (Blue), Two Taillight Wires (Green) and One Headlight wire (Orange)

  • First connect the battery wire ensuring the arrows on each of the connection line up. This cable will only connect one way if it will not connect DO NOT FORCE IT. Ensure it is lined up correctly

  • Next, connect the two taillight wires in the middle of the power controller. Make sure to align the notch in the power controller connection with the cut out in the bike connection.

  • Finally connect the headlight wire. Make sure to align the slot on the power controller connection to the notch on the bike connection

  • Once the new power controller is connected. Slide the power controller into the frame. It can be difficult to get all the cables into the frame due to the space. The only thing to be careful with is to not bend any of the connections from the power controller to severely.
  • Once all the cables are inside the frame reinstall the bike hatch cover and 2mm bolt. DO NOT OVER TIGTEN THE BOLT.
