Step 1

  • Remove the red plastic taillight lens by using your fingernail to pry the lens off the backing
    plate.

Step 2

  • Using a small pick or a small flat head screwdriver very carefully slide it under the LED board and gently pry it up all along the length of the backing plate. Don’t force it as the board is very fragile.

Step 3

  • Using the small flat head screwdriver slide it under the black plastic and gently pry the
    backing plate up along the length of the backing plate. Be careful to not damage to paint work or break the backing plate.

Step 4

  • Once the backing plate and the LED board are loose gently pull the wire out of the frame until the plug is visible. Grab both sides of the plug and pull them apart and the plug should come apart. Leave the cable hanging out of
    the frame.

Step 5

  • Once the backing plate and the LED board are loose gently pull the wire out of the frame until the plug is visible. Grab both sides of the plug and pull them apart and the plug should come apart. Leave the cable hanging out of
    the frame.

Step 6

  • Once the backing plate and the LED board are loose gently pull the wire out of the frame until the plug is visible. Grab both sides of the plug and pull them apart and the plug should come apart. Leave the cable hanging out of
    the frame.

Step 7

  • Once the backing plate and the LED board are loose gently pull the wire out of the frame until the plug is visible. Grab both sides of the plug and pull them apart and the plug should come apart. Leave the cable hanging out of
    the frame.

Step 8

  • Once the backing plate and the LED board are loose gently pull the wire out of the frame until the plug is visible. Grab both sides of the plug and pull them apart and the plug should come apart. Leave the cable hanging out of the frame.

Step 9

  • Once the backing plate and the LED board are loose gently pull the wire out of the frame until the plug is visible. Grab both sides of the plug and pull them apart and the plug should come apart. Leave the cable hanging out of
    the frame.
