Jamie was excellent in communicating with me over the months of tariffs, waiting for delivery of the bike components, painting, assembly; and finally shipment, given my travel schedule. "I have watched LeMond bike for some years in admiration of their beauty, function, and lite weight. When my wife broke her hip in a biking accident, we thought that might be the end of biking for her, but her love for biking created a need to find some middle ground. Enter LeMond Dutch. After 10 months of hip rehab we got the Dutch for her. She says it is the most comfortable bike she has ever sit on. She doesn’t want a lot of assist so we have left the setting at 25% assist. I have confidence that if she ever pushes too far she has the ability to make it home by upping the assist as needed. When we ride together, I was surprised that I have to work on my single speed to keep up. I usually trail behind her now, and I consider myself a good cyclist. Thank you LeMond team for giving us the ability to keep riding together through it all!"
"Decided to get an electric bike given the hills where I live. This is such a great bike (even if it didn’t have the motor). The assist is just what is needed. You still need to do most of the work at the lowest level. So you get a natural workout with the right amount of assist. The bike is light enough that you can ride it without the assist if it ever died. The bill quality is excellent. I love the integrated lights."
"When we purchased the LeMond Rosa, it was sans fenders. My wife has been commuting to work on her ebike, and to wine bars near our home. The design of the bike is reminiscent of the bikes most common in Europe, which was a huge factor when deciding to purchase this well crafted bike. It is so light for a battery driven bicycle, my wife has absolutely no difficulty loading her bike on the bus when it’s too dark to ride home. The fenders we added where easy to install, and completely transforms the bike. And still the compliments keep rolling in. The whole package has been money well spent.
